Christoffer Høyer DENMARK

Christoffer Høyer is a Danish film composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, artist and music producer.

Through-out the 2000's, he worked primarily as a performing artist, playing, writing, recording and touring with his former band, “Envelope". The band released two studio albums.

Later, signed as a solo artist to Warner Music, he released the albums, “Silent Songs About Things That Don’t Happen” and “Songwriter”. In 2021, the side project, “Sophisticated Sissies”.

Recently, he has released several instrumental tracks, combining classical, acoustic instruments with electronic ones. 

Chris is working at his studio, Hoyer Songs Studio, on a daily basis and through-out the years, he has become increasingly busy as a: 

  • Film composer and/or title song composer for film/TV/web
  • Music producer/co-writer/arranger/mixer
  • Composer/songwriter for artist projects as well as his own projects

A few highlights:


  • Wrote/produced/played/mixed a long series of songs, score and music cues for the Netflix TV show, “Love Is Blind”, Seasons 3, 5 and 6. "Love is Blind" was the #1 most popular show for Netflix world-wide in 2022/23/24.
  • Wrote/produced the music score for Carlsberg: Carlsberg Group Corporate Film (Internal Communications), encapsulating the brand’s vision and enhancing the emotional impact of the company’s narrative.
  • Wrote/produced/played/mixed the score/sound design for the puppet show, “Paperlicious”.
  • Wrote/produced/played/mixed the official theme song, “If You Dare to Believe”, for LEGO, introducing and launching the magical universe of “LEGO Elves”. Playing in 50+ countries. Bought by Netflix.
  • Wrote/produced/mixed the music score to “The Cowboys and Aliens Interviews”, starring Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde. Directed by Jon Favreau
  • Wrote/recorded/played/produced/mixed the official theme song as well as music score for the kids' TV show, “Sovedyr på eventyr”, for National Danish Television DR’s TV Channel, “Ramasjang”
  • Wrote/produced the music score for the US TV channel, Comedy Central’s TV Special, “Nick Kroll, Thank You Very Cool”, featuring the comedian Nick Kroll
  • Wrote/produced/played/mixed parts of the music score for a long series of TV documentaries for National Danish TV (DR), DR2’s “DR2 Undersøger”.
  • Wrote/performed/played/mixed the song, “Beautiful World”, for the Hollywood movie “Lucky”, starring Colin Hanks, Ann-Margret, Jeffrey Tambor, Mimi Rogers….
  • Wrote/produced/played/mixed the music score for the American movie, “Chronology”, by New York director, Kate Romero. Premiered on The New Filmmakers Film Festival, L.A. 

Currently, Chris is working on the full score for two documentaries portraying people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Cerebral Palsey (CP).
