Eivind Helgerød NORWAY

Eivind is nominated for the 2025 HARPA Nordic Film Composers Award alongside Andrea Louise Horstad, Kåre Christoffer Vestrheim & Kristoffer Lo, for their score in "Makta".

Eivind Helgerød
is an award-winning producer, drummer, and composer who has been a key figure in Norway’s music scene since 2014. Known for his work with many of the country’s top artists, including Emilie Nicolas, Cezinando, Astrid S, Bernhoft, Bigbang, Highasakite, and Karpe, Eivind has contributed to critically acclaimed albums and performances that have earned Norwegian Grammy Awards (Spellemannsprisen) and international recognition.


As a producer, Eivind’s credits include over 200 songs, including Emilie Nicolas’ landmark albums Like I’m A Warrior and Tranquille Emile, as well as Cezinando’s Et Godt Stup i et Grunt Vann. He is also co-composer for the acclaimed Norwegian TV series PowerPlay (Makta), showcasing his versatility across genres and media.


Beyond the studio, Eivind is an accomplished drummer and bandleader. He has headlined major festivals across Norway, toured internationally throughout Europe, America, Oceania, and Asia, and performed on numerous TV broadcasts. He holds a Master’s Degree in Jazz Drumming from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).


Eivind’s contributions have made him a trusted name in Norway’s music industry, recognized for his collaborative spirit and ability to bring out the best in every project.
