Tommy Gee DENMARK
Tommy Gee has had a diverse career as a composer and music producer, ranging from experimental electronica to worldwide commercial success. He is certified with over 40 diamond, platinum, and gold records, having sold over 10 million records and reaching number one in 32 countries, including the USA and England. Most recently, in 2023, he composed music for the Danish National TV drama documentary series "Efterretningstjenesten" and wrote music for the American Grammy-nominated artist Ingrid Andress.
Tommy has worked for international companies such as Bunim Murray Productions, Get Lifted Films, Warner Music USA, SYCO Sony, Universal Music, King Street Sounds, Mercedes Benz, Profile Pictures, etc.
Tommy Gee was part of the early European electronica scene in the 1990s and released over 30 records as an electronica artist on labels such as Belgian R&S Records, Sony Japan, and various English indie labels. His first international success led to composer assignments for Denmarks National TV, TV2, Nordisk Film, Henrik Klokker Hansen, and others.
In the 2010s, Tommy began composing/producing music for a wide range of international commercial names, including Nile Rodgers, One Direction, Wolfgang Gartner, and Fifth Harmony. This resulted in tremendous commercial international success. Concurrently, he composed more abstract music for Danish theatrical productions at The Royal Danish Theater, Republique Theater, Edison Theater, among others. The piece "Om et øjeblik" won the prestigious Reumert award.
Tommy composed music for the animated film "2 Venner," which won a Robert award (Danish Oscar) produced by Profile Pictures. In 2018, Tommy collaborated with American actress Rose McGowan. Together with Rose, he composed music for the documentary series "Citizen Rose" on American E! Network, about Rose McGowans experiences with Harvey Weinstein's abuse. Additionally, Tommy composed music for John Legend's "Get Lifted Film" for the film "Breaking Away," directed by John Swetnam, starring Brazilian megastar Anitta.
Since the beginning of 2023, Tommy has returned to the more experimental electronic sound, experimenting with combining modular synths with organic instruments, focusing on film/TV music.
