Ville is a media composer, musician and a music producer based in Kalajoki, Finland. Ville describes his approach to writing music as an adventure of finding the right emotion with modern electronics combined with classical soundscapes.
n addition to film music, Ville writes trailer music for the most demanding market of the industry in Los Angeles, and what comes to sync music, Ville has collaborated with top writers and producers to GRAMMY-nominated artists from all over Nordic countries, Great Britain, and USA. Ville also writes music very widely for other instances like theatre, advertisements, art projects, etc. In the spring of 2022, renowned Hollywood-composer Harry Gregson-Williams personally selected Ville to participate to personal mentoring in the main program of Next Generations Composers laboratory. As described by mr. Gregson-Williams, Ville has ”a fantastic sense for drama and melodic themes”. In 2022 Ville wrote the music for C-More’s original film ”Susikoira Roi”, which won the main prize at Oulu International Children’s & Youth Film Festival. Ville is currently contracted to compose for two upcoming feature films. |
