Walter Berge SWEDEN
|
Walter Berge is a Swedish composer working across film, experimental music and electronic composition. With a background in mathematics and club music, his work moves freely between acoustic instrumentation, electronics and unconventional approaches to composition, combining a strong sense of form with an exploratory approach to texture, harmony and sonic space.
His film work includes Mikael Marcimain’s Netflix feature An Honest Life (Ett ärligt liv) and Julia Thelin’s The Patron (Mecenaten). Alongside his work for film, Berge is active within Sweden’s experimental music scene and is a member of XTC in the XIV. His practice also extends into contemporary art and music through collaborations with artists including Arvida Byström and composer Fredrik Gran. |
