Andrea is nominated for the 2025 HARPA Nordic Film Composers Award alongside, Kåre Christoffer Vestreheim, Kristoffer Lo & Eivind Helgerød, for their work in "Makta".
Photo by: Helge Brekke Norwegian rising composer and producer Andréa Louise got a significant step in her career when the tv-series «Powerplay» (Motlys, NRK) won the Best Music Award at Cannesseries 2023. Collaborating with Kåre Chr. Vestrheim, Kristoffer Lo and Eivind Helgerød their music for «Powerplay» was described as “downright revolutionary” by jurymember and «The Police» drummer Stewart Copeland. Andréa is educated from the Norwegian Academy of Music as a vocalist in the department of jazz and improvisation, but integrated music technology and producing in her degree. She is currently based in her studio in Oslo not only producing and engineering other artists, but also a touring musician with jazz and pop-acts. With her love for weird textures; guitarpedals on her vocals, or modular synths combined with odd acoustic instruments and and the inclusion of raw, natural-sounding spaces she is building her own unique sound. In 2022 Viaplay released it’s new tv-series «Made In Oslo» (Viaplay, Tordenfilm) with the title song «You Can’t Change Her» by Andréa Louise. On this project she started out as the main composers assistant, and contributed with the vocal parts of the project. |
