The protagonist in Jätten (The Giant) was dealt a bad hand in life. But his fragile physique and a harsh judging environment are not going to stop him. Björn Olssons music is vital in this struggle. Atmospheric melodies of the Swedish west coast effectively transcends our alienated dreamer to the prairie of the Wild West. There he becomes a hero and he takes on the impossible. One must have a heart of stone not to be moved by the beautiful soundtrack of Jätten..
