Ellen Bødtker, Norwegian artist and composer, has recorded 8 solo albums with her own music. As solo harpist she has performed in most concert halls, stages and festivals in Norway, and visited many parts of the world with her harp. She has a great career in Japan at the moment, and visited Tokyo FM as a guest artist in 2019 playing her music Live. She is a harpist with distinctive features and is one of Scandinavias leading harp soloists. Ellen Bødtker plays with the Norwegian ensemble Oslo Sinfonietta and has toured with The Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, performing at several prestigious festivals around the world. As soloist Bødtker just performed at the Frankfurt Messe with her new music and has performed in Italy, Canada, USA, England, Russia and Japan. Ellen Bødtker has, at several occasions, appeared on TV and radio. Also hosting her own TV-shows featuring music for harp. She performed at Japanese TV NHK WORLD WAVE MORNING and at Norwegian TV NRK with The performance LIFEBLOOD, which contents texts by Edvard Munch to great acclaim. ”Lifeblood” visited New York City and Tokyo. Based in Oslo she works from her homestudio and is looking to write music for feature film. |
