Frank Hall ICELAND

Frank Hall is an Icelandic composer, working mainly for film and television.
Frank Hall studied music and art at the Royal Conservatory and The Royal Academy in Den Haag in The Netherlands. He graduated with a masters degree in 2006. He has compsed music for a number of films and tv, including Operation Napoleon, Stella Blómkvist, Black’s Game, Julia, I Remember You and Albanian Gangster. Frank was nominated for the best score at the Icelandic Film And TV awards for Black’s Game and Stella Blómkvist, he received the awards for the best score for Julia at the Screamfest festival in Los Angeles. He was nominated for the music of the year for Theatre and Film music in The Icelandic Music Awards for I Remember You in 2018. Frank is also a member of the duo Kig & Husk along with Höskuldur Ólafsson. Kig & Husk released an album in late 2021 and it got nominated as the album of the year at the Icelandic Music Awards. Frank has worked on numerous theatre and dance productions, by himself or with his bands, Ske and Skarren ekkert. |
