Karzan is a Swedish/Kurdish composer based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Starting his career in the music world at a young age, he plays several oriental instruments and has toured around the world with his small band. After moving to Sweden in 2005, he began studying composition of art music at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, graduating in 2013 In 2010 he received SABAM Award for Best Young International Composer at World Soundtrack Award in Ghent. And since 2010 he has been active in the TV, film and video game music industry as a film composer and conductor. Among his film and TV video game credits as a composer, arranger and orchestrator are: "The Lawyer" (2020), "Hamilton" (2020), "Battlefield 1 & V" (2016/2018), "Insurgency: Sandstorm" (2018) ,"Corvidae" (2018), "Vår tid är nu" (2017), "Känn ingen sorg" (2013), "Molly (II)" (2020) and "Come Clean" (2020). |
