Nordic Film Music Days 2017
|
Monday February 13th from 2 – 7 pm the Nordic Embassies in Berlin were packed with a rarely seen lineup of Nordic musical talent and creatives. From all five Nordic countries the most talented, experienced and ambitious film and media-composers were flying in. Ready to meet each other, to hear each other talk about how they have achieved success on an international level without losing their national and even regional sound; how they launch and present their Nordic music and how they succeed in nourishing the national and Nordic skills and talent – along with the rich film and television output of the Nordic region.
The day was also an occasion to present the 10 nominated composers for this year's HARPA Nordic Film Composers Award, and was concluded with an after party featuring a special DJ mix incorporating the best in Nordic Film scores. Previous HARPA nominees have included composers such as Jóhann Jóhansson, whose film work spans titles such as ARRIVAL, THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING and the upcoming BLADE RUNNER 2049. |
