Olavur Jakupsson DENMARK

Ólavur Jákupsson is a composer and a musician from the Faroe Islands. His work covers many different fields of music, including collaborations with multiple artists over the years, including ORKA, Eivør, Anika, Quinquis, Afenginn and more.
Over the past decade, Ólavur has been a touring musician/singer and close collaborator with well-known Breton composer Yann Tiersen (Amélie, Good bye Lenin!).

Recently, Ólavur has also transitioned into composing original scores for documentary films and TV series, such as award-winning Nordic crime drama TROM.
