The composer, artist and musician Per Störby Jutbrings solo work is stylized by the blend of classic orchestration and contemporary electronics, drawing on minimalism.
Störby Jutbring has toured extensively all over the world and his work has been presented at venues like National Grand Theatre in Beijing, Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, Festival Internacional de Inverno in Brazil, among others. In 2013 Störby Jutbring was awarded composer of the year by SKAP – The Swedish Society of Songwriters, Composers and Authors. He has composed music for theatre and dance performances, TV and radio, made electronic pop as Zeigeist and Pearl Fiction and post classic chamber music with his band New Tide Orquesta. During the years he has produced 15 albums. He have been collaborating with other artists within the range of Swedish legends Povel Ramel and Sven-Bertil Taube to extraordinary pop acts Laleh, and The Sound Of Arrows. Previously Störby Jutbring composed music for films including Academy and BAFTA Award winner Searching For Sugarman by Malik Bendjelloul, Crystal Bear awarded My Skinny Sister by Sanna Lenken and Finnish The Star Boys by Visa Koiso-Kanttila, among others. |
