Rune Funch is a Danish guitarist, composer, film composer and band leader.
He was born in 1970 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He started playing piano and drums at the age of 5, and then finally picked up the guitar at the age of 11. Throughout his career, he has formed 4 bands: Once around the park, Warwick Avenue (Cirkus), Grammofunch and Picture Music. He has won several Danish Music Awards with his bands and has signed with Warwick Avenue to Columbia Records New York in 2005. Rune is currently living in Copenhagen making filmmusic, recording and touring. |
