Thomas is a very accomplished pianist. This can be heard on his recent album, Songs from north. He is also interested in melodic composition over a harmonic texture that spans from very sparse to complex. Apart from that, his compositional style is slightly romantic. He has studied Jazz and Classical music, both as a composer and instrumentalist.
