Thomas Volmer Schulz DENMARK Thomas Volmer Schulz graduated with honors from London College of Music in 2005 and has since then worked as a composer, producer and songwriter. He has quickly become one of the most sought-after composers in Denmark, since he scored his first movie in 2017. Together with Bent Fabricius-Bjerre he did the score for the successful debut movie from The Avaz Brothers “Mens Vi Lever” (While we live) in 2017. In 2019 they scored the second film by the same team, Collision (starring Nikolaj Lie Kaas). Thomas just finished scoring a new fiction tv-series for TV2/SF Films called ALFA/GROW, which premiered June 2020. As a producer & songwriter he has worked with artists like Craig David, Kenneth Bager, Aloe Black, Aura Dione, Miss Dynamite, Damon C. Scott / Storm Queen, Noonie Bao, Clemens, Kevin Lyttle and many more. He has also scored several live shows and musicals, most recently Terkel I Knibe (The trouble with Terkel) in Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen (2019). Thomas is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and does all his work from his Nørrebro studio. He also hosts the Friday night radio show "Vidundergrunden" on P3 (Danmarks Radio). A weekly 3-hour show, focusing on music subculture in Denmark. |
